Hot sauce

Hot sauceEven though the production of hot sauce is now a multi-billion dollar industry, it’s a fact that the use of hot sauce dates back many years. In fact, archaeologists have discovered hot sauce bottles on shipwrecked boats.

Hot sauce, as we know it today, first started to become popular in the early 1800s. These sauces have been particularly popular in America for more than 200 years.

As is the case with many kinds of foods, the love of hot sauce originated from a specific area in the United States and then branched out. The early lovers of hot sauce in this country mostly congregated in the South.

One of the specific groups that most helped bring about this love for hot sauce are the Cajun people. Perhaps the most popular kind of sauce that is found in most kitchens and restaurants now is the Tabasco brand hot sauce.

People use this brand of sauce for many different things. Some put it on fish, while others put it on pizza. Some put it on noodles, while others use it on hot wings. There is no right or wrong time to use this hot sauce. Its use depends on what you want.
